As of this morning, a GoFundMe page for the Batavia residents who lost their home in a fire Monday has a total of $2,820 out of a $5,000 goal.
“Luckily they were not in the home, and their 18 year old son ran into the burning house to rescue their two dogs,” Nicholas Corcoran wrote on the page. “Thankfully, everyone is physically okay, but their house and belongings were a total loss, and now they need to rebuild from the ground up. Being small business owners, any assistance to help them start over would be greatly appreciated. Funds will be used to purchase necessary goods to get them back on their feet until they can figure out the next steps.”
