BATAVIA — The following fire departments were approved to be deployed to Erie County Training & Operation Center, 3359 Broadway in Cheektowaga for 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today: city of Batavia, town of Batavia, Oakfield, East Pembroke, Corfu, Genesee County Emergency Management.
Those being deployed were to assemble at the Corfu Fire Department, 116 E. Main St., Corfu, at 5:15 a.m. for deployment to Erie County Training & Operation Center at 6 a.m. The departments are assisting in Erie County through 6 p.m. today.
“Stay safe and thank you so much for helping our neighbors to the west,” Genesee County Office of Emergency Services Coordinator Tim Yaeger told the fire departments.
